Eli Perry
Role: Research Analyst
While relatively new to Marketing Research, Eli has successfully applied lessons learned from an array of employment experiences to his research career. From being a soldier in the US Army, to serving up tasty libations at the local hotspot, or later managing all operations of a popular concert venue/nightclub, Eli’s efforts have always exhibited a combination of attributes that have served him well: A positive, “can-do” attitude, along with an innate desire to add his own improvements along the way. Eli likes to leave his campsite better than he found it, and he applies this trait to all of his duties at Lynx - whether it be managing multiple vendors on a complex quantitative project, or adding thoughtful insight to a client report.
While stationed in Fulda, Germany during his tour of duty in the US Army, Eli didn’t let a few minor details like the end of the cold war, or a 6-month re-assignment to Kuwait get in the way of his other endeavors. He still managed to find the time to successfully complete the 100 mile ‘4 day marches’ in Nijmegen, Holland, and also to drive to Pamplona, Spain to run with the bulls at the annual San Fermin Festival. These ventures exhibit not only the dogged determination that Eli applies to his work, but also the adventurous spirit that drives Eli to continually strive for new and better ways to meet whatever challenges may arise in the marketing research arena.
Since joining Lynx in 2006 as Project Manager, Eli has repeatedly managed all phases of the operational efforts required to successfully complete a wide array of research methodologies: Whether it be qualitative or quantitative, domestic or international, online, over the phone, or in person, Eli has had his hands in it. As a result of his success in the Project Management function, he was promoted within Lynx to his current title of Research Analyst in 2009.
These days, since “settling down” with his wife Addie, and just recently welcoming a son, Parker, to the family, Eli has traded in endurance marches and crazed bulls for more family friendly activities, like fly fishing in a cool, clear, Idaho stream, or hitting some whitewater in one of Idaho’s many pristine rivers. And since he can’t go fishing every day (yet, at least), you may also spot Eli on the sideline of Boise’s famous blue turf, cheering on his Alma Mater, the Broncos of Boise State, who are sure to be the first non-BCS team to win the National Championship.
